On Tuesday, October 13, starting at 12 p.m. ET, Reclaim Hosting will move MiddCreate (Middlebury’s Domain of One’s Own) to a new server and upgrade it to a new version. Reclaim Hosting does the migration. Most users do not need to do anything.
During the maintenance
- You cannot log in to cPanel or create new accounts.
- Your site may be unavailable for a short time.
After the maintenance
- The sign-up and login pages will look different. See the new dashboard.
- The default PHP version changes to 8.2. PHP 7.3 will no longer be available.
Action is necessary only if one of these applies to you
- You use your own domain name (not a middcreate.net address) and you manage its DNS somewhere other than Reclaim Hosting: After the migration, point your domain to the new IP address: 157.245.123.93.
- You connect with SSH, SFTP, or FTP: Change the server in your client settings to middcreate.dooo.host.reclaimhosting.com.
- Your site uses PHP 7.3: Test your site after the upgrade. Older plugins or themes can stop working.
